PLYMOUTH — Francis B. Morrow, 83, husband of Barbara (Gentile) Morrow, passed away peacefully at Cheshire House on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020.

Born in Waterbury on Dec. 13, 1936, he was a son of the late Francis and Hazel (Chapman) Morrow. Francis was a longtime resident of Plymouth and was a former police officer in the Borough of Naugatuck for 20 years. After retirement, he also worked for the State of Connecticut Child Support Division. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and fishing.

Besides his loving wife, Barbara, of 20 years, Francis leaves his four sons, Francis Morrow, Michael Morrow, Steven Morrow and Douglas Morrow; his two daughters, Linda Clavette and Kathleen Morrow; his stepchildren, David Pollo, Debra Pollo and Donna Grandpre; his 18 grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Walkthrough visitation will be on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Those attending are required to wear facial coverings and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Burial with military honors will follow in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
