NAUGATUCK — Francis Angiolillo, 88, passed away on Dec. 26, 2013 at Abbott Terrace H.C. in Waterbury.

Mr. Angiolillo was born on May 3, 1925 in Naugatuck a son of the late Domenic Angiolillo and Mary (Nardello) Angiolillo. He was retired from Uniroyal, Inc. where he worked for many years. He was also the owner of Fran’s Pizza in Naugatuck. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the 82nd Airborne.

He is survived by his four daughters, Sharen Morrissey of Naugatuck, Mary Beth Douty and husband James of Florida, Catherine Angiolillo of Middlebury, and Doris Noel; two sons, Francis and his wife Kathleen of Bristol and Steven and his wife Ashley of Florida. He will also be missed by his 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife of many years, Doris (Noel) Angiolillo; three sons, David, Charles and Marc; a daughter, Jan; two sisters, Catherine Ollero and Lena Iassogna; four brothers, Charles, Joseph, William and Domenic.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The Veterans Council will be performing at 6:45 p.m.
