NAUGATUCK — Ms. Francine M. (Tortorici) Accetura, 60, of Tyler Hill Road, Naugatuck, unexpectedly passed away at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Ms. Accetura was born in Waterbury on July 3, 1951, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Irene (Adamski) Tortorici. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and a faithful member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. Among her interests were knitting, crocheting, spending time with her family, and especially playing with her grandkids.
She leaves a son, Chad Accetura of Naugatuck; two daughters, Julie Fardy of Naugatuck with whom she made her home, Nicole Orfino of Waterbury; a brother, Vincent Tortorici of Naugatuck; a sister, Linda Soto of Waterbury; four grandchildren, Alexis, Joshua, Dylan, and Tyler; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 at noon at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will be at the family’s convenience in Grove Cemetery in Naugatuck.
