NAUGATUCK — Frances A. (Zonghetti) Pikula, 93, widow of Francis J. Pikula, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Beacon Brook Health Center.
Born in East Haven on Sept. 7, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Angeline (Pelizza) Zonghetti. She was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, and retired from the Naugatuck Police Department. She enjoyed cross stich, gardening and traveling.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Laurel Schlesinger of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Stacey Larson of Virginia and Joshua Pikula of Georgia; her great-grandchildren, Rachel and Jack Larson of Virginia; her daughter-in-law, Shauna Pikula of Omaha, Neb. She was predeceased by her sons, Paul F. Pikula and Michael Pikula; and her son-in-law, Robert Schlesinger.
Graveside services will be private. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
