Elizabeth Ann (Amador) Osborne

SEYMOUR — Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (Amador) Osborne, 70, of Seymour, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of William L. Osborne.

Mrs. Osborne was born in Naugatuck on April 26, 1942 a daughter of the late Manuel Amador and the late Margaret Miller-Benson. She was retired from the Burndy Corporation where she worked as a machine operator for many years and was a communicant of St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Seymour.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Osborne is survived by two daughters, Karen Vensel and her husband Alan of Seymour and Mary Spear of Middletown; four sons, Robert J. Osborne of Waterbury, Michael L. Osborne and his wife Blake Deegan of Spartansburg, S.C., Eugene F. Osborne and his wife Staci of Naugatuck and Richard C. Osborne and his wife Karen of Waterbury; two sisters, Mary Ellen Laferriere of Waterbury and Patricia Ann Reilly of Springfield, Mass.; one brother, Kenneth Benson of Southington; eight grandchildren; one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Catherine Osborne; a son, Kenneth R. Osborne and a brother, Edward Schlask.

The funeral will be held on Friday July 6, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
