NAUGATUCK — Elaine Pelletier, 78, of Naugatuck, entered into rest on April 5, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side. Elaine was born on March 25, 1943, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Leo and Theresa (Gelinas) Theriault.
Elaine was raised in Waterbury and attended St. Ann’s Grammar School and Waterbury Catholic High School. She worked as a CNA for various facilities both in Florida and Connecticut before her retirement. Elaine had a passion for Bingo and would regularly attend games at local churches and Foxwoods. She loved socializing and spending time with her family, especially at the beach and Bantam Lake.
She is the beloved mother of Christine Yarrington and her husband, Thomas, of Naugatuck, Daniel Nolan of Naugatuck, Sean Nolan and his wife, Cyndi, of Waterbury, and Timothy Nolan of Naugatuck. Elaine also leaves her loving grandchildren, Amy Yarrington, Melissa Jandreau, Robert “Bob” Yarrington, Vincent Orlando and Maureen Nolan; her cherished great-grandchildren, Maureen Orlando and Thomas Lavertue; her siblings, Leonard Theriault of Bradenton, Fla., Diane Hoyne of Doolittle, Mo., and Ronald Theriault of Altona, N.Y. She was predeceased by her daughter, Maureen Orlando-Nolan.
Friends may greet Elaine’s family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., Naugatuck, on Friday, April 9, 2021, from 10 until 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.
