WATERBURY — Mr. Edgar W. Stewart, 94, of Waterbury, formerly of Cheshire and Palm City, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at the Village at East Farms. He was the husband of the late Frances (Cormier) Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was born in Waterbury on Jan. 18, 1920. He was the owner of Atlantic Pavement Marking in Prospect. He was an avid golfer and boater and was a member of the Masons.
Mr. Stewart is survived by a son, Richard Stewart and his wife Joanne of Prospect; three grandsons, Richard Stewart, Michael Stewart and Marc Stewart all of Prospect; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
