Douglas A. Marchlewski
NAUGATUCK — Mr. Douglas A. Marchlewski, 47, of 50 Lorann Drive, Naugatuck, passed away on Saturday March 5, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Marchlewski was born in Waterbury on March 16, 1963. He was a lifelong Naugatuck resident and worked as an environmental health and safety engineer for Engineered Sinterings and Plastics in Watertown. He received his associate’s degree in manufacturing from Waterbury State Technical College and his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology-specializing in manufacturing engineering from Central Connecticut State University. He was an avid sports fan and never failed to support his favorite N.Y. Jets. His hobby was restoring motorcycles; he rebuilt and retained a “1972 Triumph” for his own personal pleasure. He was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church.

Douglas was the son of Alfred J. and Dolores (Rimkoski) Marchlewski of Naugatuck; loving husband of Nicole (Davey) Marchlewski; father of two children, daughter,
Brooke, 6; his son, Zachary, 2; his sister, Janet, and brother-in-law, Robert Komacki of Naugatuck; his niece, Jessica Komacki; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday March 8 at 9:15 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley
Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck to
St. Hedwig Church, 32 Golden Hill St., Naugatuck for a mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
