WATERBURY — Dorothy M. (Moroz) Jablinowski, 94, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital VITAS Innovative Care Unit on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was husband of the late Stephen L. Jablinowski.
Born in Waterbury on Dec. 25, 1926, she was the daughter of Karial and Laura Maroz. Dorothy had lived most of her life in Waterbury and Naugatuck. She worked at Uniroyal Inc. until their closing, and eventually retired from Winchester Co. in Watertown.
She leaves her son, Stephen Jablinowski and his wife, June, of Eastham, Mass.; her daughter, Jill Fontaine and her husband, Jeffrey, of Alameida, Calif.; her sister, Roberta Bento Olearnick of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Temple Bloom and Adrian Fontaine; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is in care of her arrangements.
