NAUGATUCK — Donald S. Costa Jr., 24, died March 8, 2020, in Derby.
Donnie was born on Jan. 3, 1996, in Waterbury, a son of Kathleen Nelson and Donald S. Costa Sr. Donnie lived in Naugatuck most of his life, he graduated from Naugatuck High School and he was proudly serving as a reservist in the United States Marine Corps.
Donnie is survived by his mother, Kathleen Nelson and her fiancé, Dennis Boyle; his father, Donald S. Costa Sr.; his brother, Matthew Costa; his sisters, Cassandra Costa and Kaitlyn Gully; his maternal grandmother, Eileen Nelson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020, at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Friday, March 20, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
