NAUGATUCK — Mr. David N. Renzoni, 61, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Valerie (Corcoran) Renzoni.
David was born in Waterbury on March 20, 1951, son of the late Nello and Mary (Cosgrove) Renzoni. He was a longtime Naugatuck resident, who owned David Renz Productions and Recording Studio in Prospect and worked for 25 years at The Music People. David’s lifelong love of music led him to work with and attend many major acts including Jimmi Hendrix, The Doors, The Stones, The Kinks, The Who, and James Cotton. Both Dave and his legendary pasta sauce will be missed by all his friends and family.
Besides his wife of 29 years, he leaves a son, Jerrick M. Renzoni of Naugatuck; his daughter, Brittany T. Renzoni of Naugatuck; his two brothers, Jerry Renzoni and his wife Kathy of Orange, Rick Renzoni and his wife Donna of Naugatuck; several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
