NAUGATUCK — Mr. David C. Taylor, 50, of Lincoln Street, Naugatuck, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the husband of Maria (Canaperi) Taylor.
David was born in Waterbury on Feb. 16, 1961, a son of the late Donald and Jessie (Harrison) Taylor. He was a resident of Naugatuck for 24 years and worked at REM Sales in Windsor. Among his hobbies were sailing and woodworking. He will be remembered for always being there for his family and friends.
Besides his wife of 24 years he leaves, two brothers, Peter G. Taylor of Waterbury and Mark E. Taylor of Beacon Falls; a sister, Susan E. Taylor of Waterbury.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jeffery W. Taylor.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at church at 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
