Obituary: Daryth Van

NAUGATUCK — Daryth Van, 80, of Naugatuck, formerly of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest on Dec. 24, 2020, at Waterbury Hospital. Daryth was born June 18, 1940 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Levi and Muriel (Stowe) Chaisson.

Daryth was a retired accountant from the O.J.P. Development Company. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Polish American Club, both in Naugatuck, and also she belonged to the David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion Auxiliary in Oxford. Daryth was also an avid fan of NASCAR racing.

Daryth leaves her loving family, including her daughter, Bonnie Bartosiak of Oxford; her grandchildren, Kimberly Brown and Jeffrey Crowther; and great-grandson, Joshua Dunn. Her daughter, Robyn Crowther; and grandson, Beau Bartosiak, predeceased her.

Due to COVID-19 there are no services scheduled at this time. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour, is entrusted with the arrangements.
