Naugatuck – Mr. Charles M. DiLaurenzio Jr., age 69, of 47 Hazel Ave., died Friday Jan. 21, at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck.
Mr. DiLaurenzio was born in Waterbury on July 1, 1941 a son of the late Charles M. DiLaurenzio Sr. and the late Carmella (Costrillo) DiLaurenzio. He was retired as a toolmaker having worked at Better Formed Metals and Highland Manufacturing for many years. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck and was a member of the Naugatuck Lodge of Elks #967. He was an avid sport shooter and a member of the N.R.A. and also enjoyed NASCAR, music and collecting classic movies.

Mr. DiLaurenzio is survived by two daughters: Deborah Begin and her husband Pete of Terryville and Sandra Toth and her husband David of Naugatuck, two sons: Thomas M. DiLaurenzio of Apache Junction, Arizona and Charles T. DiLaurenzio of Mineville, N.Y., a sister: Julie Johnstone and her husband Raymond of Prospect, a brother: John DiLaurenzio and his wife Gloria of West Palm Beach, Fla., five grandchildren: Monique Begin, Sean Begin, Sara Begin, Derek Toth and Jason Toth and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife: Judith (Kenneson) Bianca of Florida and his former girlfriend: Linda (Clark) Cyphers of Mineville, N.Y.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect on Thursday Feb. 3, from 6 p.m, to 8 p.m. The Naugatuck Lodge of Elks will assemble at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 6:45 p.m.
