NAUGATUCK — Mr. Brian K. Dell, 53, of Naugatuck, beloved son of Richard Dell of Ontario, Canada and the late Sheila (Simpson) Dell entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Lynn (Skoronski) Dell, his best friend and love of his life for more than 30 years.
Born in Worland, Wyo. on July 9, 1958 Brian was employed by Mobil Chemical Films Division for over 15 years and left to pursue his ambition to coach soccer. Brian worked as a pioneer for the soccer programs in Naugatuck, establishing facilities and mentored youth to find their potential and passion within them selves. His hobbies were golfing, cooking and gardening. Brian had a strong love for his family and friends and lived his life to the fullest.
Besides his father, Mr. Dell is survived by his step-mother Jane (Lambeth) Dell of Ontario, Canada; one daughter, Allison Dell of Naugatuck; two sons, Justin Dell of Naugatuck and Zachary Dell of Naugatuck, and one brother, Richard Dell, Jr. of Lima, N.Y. He is also survived by his beloved pets Harley, Meo, Mica and Ozzy along with numerous friends and family from all walks of his life.
A very special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caring and supportive staff at Waterbury’s St. Mary’s Hospital, Lifestar, and Hartford Hospital. Their tireless efforts and compassion towards Brian and his family knew no bounds.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69 Prospect. Private committal services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
