Obituary: Bertha M. Kudasik

SEYMOUR — Bertha M. Kudasik, 95, of Seymour entered into peaceful rest with her beloved son Edward always holding her hand and daughter-in-law Jane by her side.

She was born Aug. 29, 1916 in Pine Island, N.Y., daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Kalbarczyk) Grusz. She was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Bertha loved life and had many friends; she traveled, and all who met her-loved her and will always cherish her memory.

In addition to her son and daughter-in-law of Seymour, Bertha leaves three cherished grandchildren, Carrie Kudasik and great grandchildren, Lloyd, Jr. and Ashley White, Kim McClintick and husband Kevin and great grandchildren Kyle and Kaylee of Beacon Falls, and Erick Kudasik, five brothers, Henry Grusz of Middletown, N.Y., Mitchell, Casimir, Walter, and Joseph Grusz all of Seymour, two sisters, Stasia Supranovich and Eleanor Wasko both of Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.

Her sisters, Josephine Bigert, Anna Haversat, Jennie Grusz, and Florence Magaldi, and brothers, Frank, Edward, and Peter Grusz predeceased her.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends are invited to call at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour also on Tuesday prior to the service from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
