NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Mildred “Mike” (Siwanowicz) Bosco, 76, left this world on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. She was the wife of the late Laurence P. Bosco.
Mike was born in Waterbury on Jan. 26, 1945, a daughter to Walter and Josephine (Wojciechowski) Siwanowicz. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident, where she raised her family. Mike worked for Beacon Brook for many years before her retirement in 2011 and resided in Vernon for the last six years.
Mike leaves her son, Joseph (Kelly) Bosco of Hebron; two daughters, Lynnmarie (Joseph) Barisano of Vernon and Catherine Bosco of Naugatuck; five grandchildren, Michael and Samantha Barisano, Lauren Reilly, Chance Pica and Anthony Bosco; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by her siblings, Josephine Maiette, Walter Siwanowicz Jr. and Elizabeth Paquette.
Graveside services will be on Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at New Calvary Cemetery, 2324 East Main St., Waterbury. In lieu of a wake, friends and loved ones are invited to visit and share memories at the home of Catherine Bosco immediately following the graveside service from 12 to 4 p.m. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
