WATERBURY — Nancie (Niziolek) Savoy, 77, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Masonicare in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Savoy, who passed away in 2019.
Mrs. Savoy was born on Dec. 24, 1943, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Stanley and Ellen Niziolek. She was a lifelong Waterbury resident, where she worked for Century Brass and was also an Auxiliary Waterbury and Southbury Police Officer.
Mrs. Savoy is survived by her son Raymond and his wife, Stephanie, of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Krystie, Kaleigh and Kelsey Savoy, and Kayla Gunnoud; great-grandson, Benjamin Angelicola; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services took place on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery.
