Naugatuck — Mrs. Mary G. (Baker) Baker, 98, of 4 Hazel Avenue, widow of Donald M. Baker, passed away Saturday Nov. 20, at Glendale Center surrounded by her family.
Mary was born in New Brunswick, Canada on October 21, 1912, daughter of the late Victor and Velma (McQuade) Baker.  She had lived most of her life in Naugatuck, and she retired from the Footwear Division of Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service.  She was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves: a son,  Donald D. Baker of Bethlehem; two daughters, Grace Perkins and D. Louise Burke, both of Naugatuck, two brothers, Louis and Basil Baker, both of Canada; two sisters, Bernadette Hanscomb and Theresa Millard, both of Canada; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter,  Inez Baker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 23,  at 10 a.m. at St Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck.  Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Ferrer Church,1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck.  The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck is assisting the family with arrangements.   To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com.
