NAUGATUCK — LuAnn Hadzega, 97, beloved wife of the late Alexander Hadzega, passed away peacefully on Nov. 6, 2022.
LuAnn was born on Sept. 11, 1925, in New Haven, to the late Elbert and Mavis Downs.
She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and was employed by the Connecticut Water Co., retiring in 1990.
LuAnn leaves behind her sons, Bruce Hadzega and his wife Claire, Alan Hadzega and his wife Donna; four grandchildren, Elisa, Michael, Rachael and Rebecca; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Elbert Downs, and her sister, Isabelle Anderson.
Visitation was to be Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St.
A graveside service was to follow at Carrington Cemetery, 84 Rainbow Road, Bethany.
