BEACON FALLS — Kaylana Marion Zollo, age 28, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022.

Kaylana was born on March 19, 1994, in Derby. She was a graduate of Woodland Regional High School in Beacon Falls. She then went on to work as an elementary school paraprofessional.

Kaylana loved to be creative, take photos, and do crafts with her young daughter. She always knew how to have a good time and made friends wherever she went.

What Kaylana loved the most was being with her two daughters and spending time with her brother, Antonio, and other family members. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children, Giana and Isabella Quinones; her boyfriend, Edgar Quinones; parents, Karen and Cesar Cuapio; her biological father, Luis Pabey; siblings, Antonio Cuapio, Cesar “Chimmy” Cuapio, Elena Cuapio, Tania Pabey, Ademir Cuapio and Armani Cuapio; her grandparents, Albert and Marion Zollo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Funeral services for Kaylana were to be on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Those attending were asked to meet directly at church. Burial was to follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Relatives and friends were to visit with Kayana’s family on Dec. 19, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 E. Main St., Waterbury.
