SOUTHWICK, Mass. — Judy Ann (Murtha) Smith, 81, died peacefully surrounded by her children after a brief battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.
Judy was daughter to Joseph and Elizabeth (Betty) Murtha, and is survived by her loving sister Mary Fazzino of Naugatuck, Conn. Her husband Bob Smith predeceased her in 2014.
She is also survived by her four children, Meghan, Patrick, Todd and Kathleen; her 11 grandchildren; her niece and nephew Jamie Fazzino and Frank Fazzino.

Visitation was scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, Mass., with a Christian Mass to follow at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 224 Sheep Pasture Road, Southwick, Mass.
