NAUGATUCK — It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Joseph F. Pinto, 76, of Naugatuck. Joseph died peacefully on April 12, 2022 at Beacon Brook Health Center.

Joe was born Nov. 30, 1945 in Waterbury. He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Ruby) Pinto and lived in Naugatuck most of his life. At a young age, he honorably served in the National Guard.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Ann (Presto), to whom he was married for more than 53 years. He was a long time parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed many afternoons at ‘The Shop’ with his friends.

Joseph was a dedicated husband and father. He was truly a kindhearted, selfless person and will be dearly missed. Joe is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J. and Dana Pinto; his beloved grandchildren, Chase and Chloe Pinto; his sisters, Rosalie Boncal and Elizabeth Santos; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
