BEACON FALLS — Jane C. (Gorski) Mis, age 96, widow of Walter A. Mis, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her home.
Born in Ansonia on Jan. 28, 1926, she was the daughter of Bronislaw and Stella (Wyrostek) Gorski. Jane lived most of her life in Beacon Falls, and was a hairdresser and cosmetology instructor for many years. She was a devout catholic and active parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, and member of the Ladies Guild and prayer group. Jane was also a member of the Beacon Falls Seniors and participant in the CT Rosary Rally.
She is survived by her family, Frederick and Nancy Mis of Fairfield, William and Sue Mis of Beacon Falls, and Justine Mis of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; her five grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be at the convenience of the family.
