SOUTHBURY — Dolores (Hayduke) Narus, age 90, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
She was born in Scranton, Pa., on May 31, 1932, daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Petroski) Hayduke. She was a longtime resident of Southbury and Waterbury. Dolores retired from Centerbank in Waterbury after many years of service. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, and bowling during her younger years. Most importantly, family always came first. One of her happiest moments was when she recently enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday at a surprise party. She was blessed to have her family and close friends show her how much she was loved.
Dolores is survived by her loving family, son Kevin Narus and his wife, Susan; her daughter, Teresa Shirling and her husband, Michael; her four grandchildren, Jill Samaroo and her husband, Ashton, Kevin “Alex” Narus and his fiance, Lauren Bode, and Colin and Noah Shirling; and her great-granddaughters, Savannah Samaroo and Madeleine Narus.
A Mass of Christian Burial was at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St., in Southbury.
