WATERTOWN — Danielle N. (Maleto) Vitale, 47, of Watertown, entered into the gates of Heaven unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife of John Vitale.
Danielle was born on April 30, 1976, daughter of (Aubin) Ehrler and her late Charles Ehrler, who was a main father figure in her life. She was born in Waterbury where she lived before moving to Naugatuck, and later to Watertown having graduated from Watertown High School, class of 1994.
Danielle was currently working as a medical insurance specialist at Dental Health Associates in Wolcott for the past seven years. Before that she worked for Jeff Gelb, D.D.S., and Edward Karl, D.D.S., in West Hartford where she started her medical professional career as a dental assistant.
Though Danielle prioritized family and friends above all else, she loved shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Coming in at a close second, she also truly loved to cook and bake.
Additionally, Danielle cherished her special girls’ nights out. She was lucky to have such a strong group of friends and close neighbors including, but not limited to, Christopher and Danielle Madden.
Everyone that knew Danielle could attest that she loved life, had a strong wit, a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and was a strong woman of faith.
Her greatest accomplishment in life by far was being a devoted mother and wife, and spending time with her beloved husband John, and son Vinnie.
Besides her husband John of 14 years, her mother Patricia of Watertown, and father-in-law Anthony Vitale and his wife Martha of Waterbury, Danielle leaves to honor and cherish her memory a son, whom she absolutely loved and adored, Vincent John Vitale of Watertown; a brother, John Maleto III of Naugatuck; an uncle, Robert Aubin and his wife Tracy of Watertown; a sister-in-law, Marci Parafati and her husband Frank of Wolcott; a brother-in-law, A.J. Vitale and his wife Dayna of Watertown; nieces and nephews, Kaylie Maleto and Alissa Maleto, both of Naugatuck, Alexa Dyer and her husband Jeffrey, and Christian Parafati and his wife Rachele, all of Southington, and Anthony Vitale and Alana Vitale, both of Watertown; a great-niece, Charlotte Dyer of Southington; and several cousins.
