WATERBURY — Aaron Jacob Ostuni, 42, died unexpectedly on Nov. 4, 2019.
Aaron was born on Aug. 5, 1977 in Waterbury, the first born of Victor J. Ostuni Jr. and Diane (Mariotti) Ostuni. Aaron lived most of his life in Naugatuck and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School.
Aaron loved family gatherings and would often take over the kitchen with his amazing culinary skills. He loved playing with his two nephews and his niece, and he had a special passion for fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his brothers, Derek Ostuni and Michael Ostuni; his sister, Gina Hepp and her husband, Jeffrey Hepp; his nephews, Hunter and Oliver; his niece, Josie; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Eva Mariotti; his many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Ostuni, Mariotti, Stiewing, Rozanski and Costa families. Aaron was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Victor J. Ostuni Sr. and Loretta Ostuni.
All services will be private. There are no calling hours, and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
