Joseph J. Pallacovitch

NAUGATUCK — Joseph J. Pallacovitch, 74, passed away at his home on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019.

He was born in Waterbury on June 23, 1945, son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Bendler) Pallacovitch. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Joe retired from the Chemical Division of Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service and was also the former owner of the Brown Derby Café in Naugatuck. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam era. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding.

Joe is survived by his son, Dean Pallacovitch and his wife, Jo-Anne, of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Tatia Pallacovitch and Alan Wilkin; his best friend and partner, Alice (Jones) (Pallacovitch) Smolenski; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Chad W. Pallacovitch; and his siblings, Joan Rose and Ronald Pallacovitch.

All services will be private. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
