WATERBURY — James W. Lango, 81, formerly of Bristol, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at Waterbury Gardens.
Mr. Lango was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Waterbury, the son of the late James J. and Elizabeth (Valaitis) Lango. He was a longtime Bristol resident and had worked as a service manager for Midas.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Lango of North Carolina, Sandra Lango Hamel of Prospect, James J. Lango and his wife, Ellie, of Middlebury, and Brenda Lango of Naugatuck; his former daughter-in-law, Dawn Loughlin Lango; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Lango, and his son-in-law, Thomas Hamel.
Mr. Lango’s family would like to thank the staff at VITAS and Waterbury Gardens for their care and compassion throughout his time in their care.
Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
