NAUGATUCK — Julia A. Anderson, 51, died Aug. 11, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Julie was born on March 20, 1968 in Derby, daughter of Raymond and Eileen (Thomas) Lafferty, and lived in Naugatuck for the past eight years, having lived most of her life in Beacon Falls. Julie loved animals, antiques and tag sales.
In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by her son, Christopher G. Anderson; her daughter, Mary Ellen Fama (Thomas); her brothers, Raymond R. Lafferty, Christopher M. Lafferty and Timothy G. Lafferty; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Brooklyn. Julie was predeceased by her son, Sean Rosler.
A celebration of Julie’s life will be Friday, Aug. 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
