NAUGATUCK — Annette (Raymond) Plourde, 85, widow of Normand Plourde, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
She was born in Maine on Dec. 6, 1933, daughter of the late Patrick and Claudia Raymond. Annette was a longtime Naugatuck resident, and she enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her four sons, Joseph and his wife, Lori, and Steven Plourde, all of Meriden, Gary Plourde of Oakville and William Plourde and his wife, Nancy, of Naugatuck; her two daughters, Anita McCowan and her husband, James, of Naugatuck, and Jennifer Plourde and Jack Lenners of Oxford; her daughter-in-law, Jackie Plourde of Ellington; her brothers, Patrick Raymond and his wife, Sandra, of Waterbury and Gilbert Raymond and his wife, Patricia, of Florida; her sister, Laura Monti of Waterbury; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Annette was predeceased by her sons, Patrick and Robert Plourde.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. A service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private.
