WATERBURY — Helen M. (Olear) Sulich, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She was widow of Joseph M. Sulich.
Mrs. Sulich was born in Waterbury on April 15, 1916, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kavula) Olear. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and a graduate of Wilby High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church. Helen enjoyed taking care of her family and baking. She was the last member of 10 siblings in her family.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, 3125 North Main St., Waterbury. Calling hours will be held directly at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
