PROSPECT — Mrs. Lorette (Dumont) Leclerc, 85, of Prospect, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Paul E. Leclerc.

Mrs. Leclerc was born in Middletown on Aug. 5, 1927 daughter of the late Eugene and Angelina (Talbot) Dumont. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. She graduated from St. Ann’s School in Waterbury and attended Waterbury Catholic High. She enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the Prospect Senior Center Knitting and Crocheting Group and also loved feeding the birds everyday. She was a truly loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, who cherished all of the time that she was able to spend with her family.

Mrs. Leclerc is survived by three daughters, Pauline Watts and her husband Leslie of Newport, N.H., Rachel Gorman and her husband Joseph of Prospect and Rebecca Watts of Newport, N.H.; two sons, Laurent Leclerc and his wife Jan of Walpole, N.H. and Ernest Leclerc and his wife Michelle of Prospect; 13 grandchildren, Eric Watts and his wife Trista of Charlestown, N.H., Amy Watts of Bellows Falls, Vt., Sean, Kathleen and Jillian Gorman of Prospect, Renee Watts of Charlotte, N.C., Angelique Watts of Newport, N.H., Paul Leclerc and his wife Adriane of Langdon, N.H., Lauren Leclerc and her husband David Brenneman of Bowdoin, Maine, Jason Leclerc and his wife Jennifer of Langdon, N.H., John Leclerc of Walpole, N.H., Daniel and Douglas Leclerc of Prospect; four great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect to St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect for a mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday Aug. 24, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m.
