NAUGATUCK — The Zoning Commission last week approved an application for Hendels Inc., which operates the Henny Penny gas stations and convenience stores, to put a gas station at 704 Rubber Ave.
The site was the location of an Exxon Mobil gas station.
The property is owned by Eugene and Albina Spinola and is appraised at $1.04 million, according to the property card.
Zoning Enforcement Officer Ed Carter said the commission didn’t put any conditions on the approval. Although the company did not provide a timeline for its work, Carter said work is expected to begin soon on the site.
