Whittemore features Prospect artist

NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library will feature the artwork of Alexa Fermeglia, of Prospect, during March.

Fermeglia is a recent graduate of Central Connecticut State University where she earned her degree in art education. While she was a student, Fermeglia had the opportunity to study abroad in Pecs, Hungary, according to a release issued by the library, and several of this month’s images were inspired by the city and her travel experiences.

Fermeglia has exhibited her work inter-collegiately and it has appeared in three editions of the Helix literary magazine at CCSU.

This month’s exhibit of mixed media can be viewed at the library, 243 Church St., during regular hours. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
