NAUGATUCK — A water main break has closed a portion of Rubber Avenue.
The road between Andrew Avenue and Hoadley Street is closed due to the break, according to a press release issued at about 1 p.m. by the Naugatuck Police Department. Utility crews are on scene to repair the break.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours, through the evening commute. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to bypass the area.
