BEACON FALLS — A water main that broke on Fairfield Place this morning has been fixed.
First Selectman Chris Bielik said he received an alert at about 2:30 p.m. from Aquarion Water Company, the water company for the town, stating the main was repaired.
The main broke at about 11:45 a.m. leaving ten customers without water, according to an earlier alert from Aquarion.
The company stated in the alert that some customers may experience discolored water. Customers who experience discolored water should run cold water until it appears clear prior to using it for cooking, drinking and washing clothes, the alert stated.
