NAUGATUCK — The United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls’ 5th Annual Festival of Trees will soon light up Naugatuck Savings Bank.

School classes, community groups, individuals, businesses, and organizations contribute a decorated tree to the festival to be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the United Way. The United Way provides an artificial tree, at no cost, to decorate following a theme. Once the trees are decorated they will dropped off Nov. 30 and put on display in the lobby of the Naugatuck Savings Bank, 87 Church St., where a reception and silent auction will be held on Dec. 2.

The trees will be on display for the public in the bank’s lobby from Dec. 5 to Dec. 9, after which the trees can be picked up by those who won the auction.
