PROSPECT — The town is getting much closer to normal operations.
Mayor Robert Chatfield said as of July 1 town buildings will be open normal hours, and board and commission meetings will be in person.
Town buildings reopened to the public on a limited basis in May as officials took a cautious approach to reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly all meetings have been virtual since the pandemic hit the state last March.
Chatfield said officials are asking people who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus to continue wearing masks in town buildings.
