Tickets on sale for Hall of Fame banquet

BEACON FALLS — The Woodland Regional High School Hall of Fame will hold its first induction ceremony banquet Nov. 22 at the Aria in Prospect.

This year’s inductees include Arnold Frank, the school’s first principal; Alice (Levinsky) Kinne, a former All-State athlete; Ryan Matthews, the founder of The Susie Foundation; and Steve Montambault, a longtime photographer and supporter of the school.

The event will also honor the inductees of the first two classes, from 2011 and 2012. They include Gina (DellaRose) Syndomin, a former All-State athlete; Maureen Carroll, a retired teacher and assistant principal; Shane Kingsley, a former All-State athlete; Joan Krantz, a retired teacher; Chris Anderson, the school’s first football coach; Pat Krakowski, a former All-State athlete; the 2004 state championship football team; the Region 16 High School Cooperative; and the 2001-02 Region 16 Board of Education.

In addition, the 15th anniversary of the school’s opening will be recognized with photos and videos.
