BEACON FALLS — Police are investigating two separate thefts in town that occurred late in December.

According to a police report issued by Connecticut State Police Troop I in Bethany, an iPhone and $43 in cash were stolen from a life guard working during swim lessons at Woodland Regional High School Dec. 21. Police reported between 12 and 3:15 p.m. someone gained access to the victim’s locker and stole the cell phone and money, which was in the victim’s wallet, from his book bag.

On the same day, the owner of the home at 168 Feldspar Ave. reported several tools and electrical items were stolen from the home sometime between Dec. 19 and Dec. 21, according to police. The victim purchased the home in September and has been doing renovations on it, police reported.
