Suspects rob bank in Prospect


PROSPECT — Two armed men, wearing black hoodies and gray pants, robbed a Wells Fargo Bank at 66 Waterbury Road on Friday morning, state police said.

No injuries were reported, according to the Connecticut State Police’s public information office. The first call came in at 9:24 a.m., state police said. The two suspects fled on Route 69 south in a tan Mercury Sable, with a partial license plate of 676, state police said. The robbery remains under investigation.
