BEACON FALLS — A new support group to help people deal with the loss of a loved one due to substance abuse or addiction has been formed.
The group, Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing or G.R.A.S.P., was recently formed to help provide sources of help, compassion, and understanding for families or individuals who have had a loved one die as a result of substance abuse or addiction.
The New Haven County Valley Chapter G.R.A.S.P. will hold its first meeting in Beacon Falls on Sept. 29. The meeting will be held at Beacon Falls Congregational Church, 69 Wolfe Ave., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
