Student charged with texting inappropriate photos

BEACON FALLS — A student at Woodland Regional High School was arrested Monday after allegedly sending inappropriate photos to another student.

According to a press release, Connecticut State Police responded to Woodland around 12:30 p.m. for a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, troopers were informed by school staff that a female juvenile student received a text message of a picture of a male’s private parts.

The male juvenile accused of sending the picture was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The names of the juveniles will not be released, according to the police.

Superintendent of Schools Michael Yamin said the student was suspended for 10 days. He said additional disciplinary action may follow.
