Stage company hosting reader’s theatre weekend

NAUGATUCK — The Phoenix Stage Company is hosting a Reader’s Theatre Weekend beginning tonight.

The weekend starts with a production of “If the Shoe Fits” written by Matt Thompson, Matt Chiorini, and Dana Vermette and featuring Ed Bassett, Chris Evans, Shelley Lloyd, and Sharon A. Wilcox tonight at 8 p.m.

“Love Letters” written by A. R. Gurney and featuring Kevin DelGobbo and Marilyn Olsen will hit the stage Saturday at 8 p.m. The weekend concludes with “Kimberly Akimbo” written by David Lindsay-Abaire and featuring Gina Fleming, John Ozerhoski, Paula Roll, Rebecca Russo, and Alec Varcas Sunday at 2 p.m.
