Showers, oxygen, debris pick-up being provided in Beacon Falls

BEACON FALLS — First Selectman Susan Ann Cable said residents can use showers at the Woodland Regional High School today and Friday.

The showers will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and residents are asked to use the entrance from the back parking lot at the school, 135 Back Rimmon Road.

Residents who require oxygen also can call the firehouse at (203) 729-1470, Cable said. Plus, residents can leave debris at the roadside for pickup but make sure it doesn’t block the street, she said.

According to Connecticut Light & Power’s website, this morning 414 customers in Beacon Falls were still without power.

Town officials hope all power is restored by Friday, Cable said.
