Sami-Jo Shamansky and Monty Adams were married June 23, 2012 in the Orange Congregational Church in Orange, by Rev. Stoddon King. A reception followed on the Homestead Farm in Orange.

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Andrew Shamansky of Prospect and the granddaughter of Eleanor and Frank Pucillo and Theresa Shamansky and the late Andrew E. Shamansky.

The bridegroom is the son of the late Barbie Adams and of Mr. Robert Adams III of Woodbridge, and the grandson of Margaret Wright and the late Thomas M. Wright and the late Florence Adams and the late Robert Adams Jr.

The bride had Cara Shamansky as maid of honor and Melissa Magini as a bridesmaid.

The best man was Sterling Adams. Ushers were Andrew W. Shamansky, Joseph Shamansky, Robert Wright and Benjamin Watts.

Mrs. Adams graduated from Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury and from Porter and Chester Institute in Watertown with a certificate in architectural drafting and design.

She is a precast detailer for Blakeslee Prestress in Branford.

Mr. Adams graduated from Amity High School in Woodbridge and from University of Hartford with a degree in electrical engineering.

He is a high voltage electrical engineer for Diversified Electric Services in Seymour.
