NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Senior Center is hosting a health and wellness screening.
The event will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, 300 Meadow St. The event is run in conjunction with the Connecticut Department of Social Services and the Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging.
A variety of free screenings will be provided including cholesterol, vision, blood pressure, A1C blood sugar, osteoporosis, and depression. Information on breast wellness and colon cancer awareness will be available as will fall risk assessments.
A complimentary boxed lunch will be served to the first 150 screening participants 60 years old and older and door prizes will be awarded.
