NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Senior Center Director Harvey Leon Frydman has been appointed to a new task force formed by the General Assembly.
The nine-member task force is designed to study the delivery of health and human services to persons age 60 and older by senior centers and municipal agents. It will examine the resources and training needs of senior center personnel, municipal agents and other municipal employees to allow them to facilitate delivery of health and human services and related information to senior citizens, a press release stated.
Frydman has served as Naugatuck’s senior center director and municipal agent for 12 years.
“I look forward to working with this group, discussing issues facing senior centers, and submitting our report and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly,” Frydman said in a press release.
