BEACON FALLS — Boy Scout Aidan Shea, a Beacon falls resident and member of Troop 138 in Naugatuck, is offering free house numbers to residents of Beacon Falls who need them or need them replaced for his Eagle Scout project.

The purpose of the project is to help first responders more quickly locate houses when responding to an emergency. The numbers are 3-inch self-adhesive vinyl and are visible from the street.

Residents can sign up for the house numbers at the Beacon Falls Library, the Assessor’s Office in Town Hall, or Beacon Falls Pharmacy. Residents can also sign up by returning forms that will be mailed with the Beacon Hose Company No. 1 carnival mailer. The deadline to register for house numbers is May 14.
